A home theater or a properly set up surround sound system with a large video display will recreate or surpass the “movie theater experience” in the comfort of your home. These systems consist of a large high quality display (TV, projector, etc.) an A/V receiver or separate components to produce an amplified sound that will faithfully reproduce almost any audio and video source. Acoustical Treatments, Sound Isolation and Home Theater Furniture
You can fill a room with the best audio components on earth and the sound will be terrible if the acoustics resemble a cave. When you have a dedicated home theater or area intended for movies and music steps should be taken to optimize that space for that purpose. Room dimensions, shape, furniture and other objects play a critical role in the clarity of any sound system. When these are addressed properly the need for acoustical treatments and room equalization are minimized and the results are simply amazing. Sometimes there are situations when there is a need to isolate the sound, so as not to disturb others and vice versa. We can provide sound isolation by decoupling the theater area from the rest of the building. We also offer classic and theme designs including home theater seating and other furniture. Partners, James Banfield and Chris Perron, who had worked together for another company, NEAR, created CAMM a few years ago. At NEAR they learned how different technologies worked and interacted with each other. They worked directly with the drivers and production of the product. Over the years they fine tuned their skills and discovered just what the drivers were capable of. When NEAR closed the production plant in the US, James and Chris decided to take the knowledge and skills they had acquired and continue to produce quality drivers and cabinets right here in the US. They use two proprietary technologies, MFCS (Magnetic Fluid Centering System) and ACAD (Anodized Ceramic Aluminum Diaphragms).
All M/E speaker models are computer tested and our crossovers are fine-tuned by ear.
Cabinets are precise and manufactured to within 1/5000 of an inch.
